There is one main Hub, the Innovation Centre, that serves as the central access point for all 4 Movies. Even falling off a ledge, you will respawn. Like the last couple of games, dying no longer requires a Level restart. It should also be noted that permanent death has been removed. Each Chapter has one of each of these unique Collectables. The final Brick is for collecting either a Red Brick, an Amber Brick or a Multi-Kit. Every Level has one Brick for completion, one for reaching a specific Stud total, and 2 for finding 2 hidden Dinosaur Fossil Collectables. There are no longer Multi-Challenges, and no time based Challenges.
The game maintains the recent trend of 5 Brick Challenges per Level. You can freely move between movies at any time, but within a movie, you must play the Chapters and Levels in order the first time through. The Movies are individually accessible from a main Hub, the Innovation Centre, and can be played in any order. The Chapters loosely follow the events of the 4 Jurassic Movies, with 3 Chapters (9 Levels) devoted to each Movie. The levels themselves remain short, and are divided into 3 linked Levels within 12 distinct Chapters. This game is similar in format to the recently released LEGO Batman 3 Vita game. LEGO Jurassic World is the 11th LEGO game to be released on the Vita.
