Fallout 4 change time of day

A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of tiny moves every second or so instead of a big one every 30 secs. The transition still not perfectly smooth but it is a lot better than vanilla. You can adjust the values but I actually don't know which value do what. Here you go dude put this into Fallout4.ini under display But I remember setting the shadows to highest setting helped a bit more. Sun cast shadows will remain motionless for 30+ seconds, and then all at once, suddenly shift 1 foot in one direction.Īnyone know if any aspects of this rendering feature can be adjusted? The time interval of the changes? The duration of the shift? Id love to be able to set the duration it takes to make the shift much longer, to create a much slower shift of visual movement.

However, it does this in quick bursts, rather than a slow and smooth continuous change. What is actually happening is that the game 'time of day' system is auto adjusting the shadow position of things in respect to the position of the sun in the game. You are standing there, doing a quest or crafting, and suddenly you think you see movement or an enemy out of the corner of your eye.
